Dear Farrell Brothers,

“Giving Tuesday” was started five years ago as a way to focus attention on charitable giving during the holiday season. The first Tuesday after Thanksgiving has become a day when people are asked to begin the season of giving by thinking of the charitable causes and institutions that are most dear to them.

As Vir Fidelis, selfless kindness to others is a cornerstone of the moral foundation instilled in us during our years on Amboy Road. The current-day example of the Vir Fidelis was on full display this past Sunday as Monsignor Farrell's Alumni Stadium hosted a very meaningful flag football game. Sixty special needs athletes took to the field for their Challenger Football League Turkey Bowl, and a number of our younger brothers volunteered their time and skills to support the participating athletes. In a simple act of kindness and support, these young men set the example of true giving.

Before the hectic pace of the holiday season picks up, now is a perfect time for us to consider those who need our support, including the current and future students of Monsignor Farrell. Farrell has long been a place where young men have learned to become members of a community who others can count on for a helping hand, kindness and strength. We can all help to ensure future generations of young men are afforded the same opportunities that we had.  The Monsignor Farrell Annual Appeal will officially be sent through mail and email in a few weeks, but if you would like to take part in this wonderful symbolic day of giving, please consider directing your kindness to the students of Monsignor Farrell High School through the donate button below.

Thank you for your kindness and faithful support, we are forever grateful.

Vir Fidelis!
